New Plume Song! – “(We Are One) Dandelions”

Hey gang!
What’s happening?
I almost feel like I’m coming out of a fog.
Man, I don’t know about you, but these last couple months have made me realize that we have more in common than we’d ever truly realized.
Anyway, remember that song that I was telling you about the other day? You know, the one that I’d started writing back in the Summer of 2016…?
Well in late March, I finally figured out what I wanted the song to be about. I called it “Dandelions (We Are One)”.
I really liked it and it felt very apropos.
Very timely.
Then in an example of extreme Social Isolation, I had the guys record their tracks from home.
The song was recorded all over North America.
Drums in Prescott, Bass in Chattanooga, Electric Guitar in Los Angeles, Piano in Toronto, Pedal Steel in Hamilton, Acoustic Guitar, Cello and Vocals here in Edmonton.
The tracks were Produced and Mixed in Victoria by Marek and then Mastered by Jim DeMain in Nashville.
I’m very proud of how this all came together.
I hope you dig it. Have a great weekend. Take care, Mike.
